HOw long will my order take?

If you are in the UK it is possible to receive your work within 2-3 days if you contact us for our fast track service.

Some shipping services are very fast the the rest of the world and can be organised for you on an individual basis if you need something very quickly.

Usually it will take between 1 and 3 weeks depending on where you are in the world. We will add you to the work Schedule immediately that payment is settled for your order and we work through the schedule according to date. At times there can be a longer waiting list, If you would like an estimate of work time please get in touch with us at the point of ordering.

HOW DO I GET my SIZE RIGHT?

We would be grateful for as much information as possible about your size when you place your order. Each piece is tailor made individually so small adjustments can be made in the original cut at no extra charge to make sure it works for you. It takes a lot of time, care and hard work to individually make a piece of lingerie so we want to get it right. You can email us with your measurements when you place your order and also tell us about any historic problems you have had with fit in other swim or lingerie

how do i find out my friend/girlfriend's size?

Often the best thing to do is sneak in her underwear drawer and look at the labels. Look for the most well worn pieces as they are often the favourite fits and contact us with as much information as you can glean from this. You can measure knickers at the waist as well as giving info on dress sizes taken from the clothes in the wardrobe

what if it doesn't fit

It's always hard to be sure of fit when buying lingerie remotely so if your lingerie doesn't fit you you can send it back to us unworn and undamaged and we we will remake it for you. We will be grateful for you to send it back to us with all original tags attached and then we will cover the cost of sending your replacements out to you.

how do i best wash and care for my lingerie and swimwear?

All Marilupa lingerie is handwash only. You should only use a detergent that's suitable for silks and free from the enzymes and optical brighteners found in standard laundry products.

Don't spot clean as this can cause watermarking, immerse the whole garment in cool water and gently rub it clean

Don't spray perfume directly onto your garments as the alcohol can cause damage to the silk

As silk is a natural fibre and many of our garments are hand dyed  it is normal to have some slight loss of dye when washing so don’t be alarmed if a little colour comes out in the water. Do be careful not to hang dark and light colours near each other when drying, and never leave them soaking together.

Don't overstretch delicate tulles and laces and take great care when dressing and undressing
